Definitely three points that got away this evening. AFC enjoyed the vast majority of the possession and created plenty of chances but unfortunately could not take advantage of that. The visitors keeper, the very vocal Jack Hopwood made a number of superb saves (in my opinion he was easily their man of the match). As captain Kyle said to me after the match “we left it all out there but we just have to play that way every game and results will turn out for us”

AFC came in to this game on a 2 game winning run and welcomed the high flying Concord Rangers – the first time that the two teams had met in any competition. AFC ensured a win with good game management and relatively comfortably saw the game out to progress through to the next round of the FA Trophy – a home game against near neighbours Berkhamsted.
